Ignition Computing is now listed as a Service Provider in the Interest Group of EXCELLERAT, the European Centre of Excellence for Engineering Applications.

EXCELLERAT brings together European HPC centres, research institutes and technology companies, coordinated by the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), to help the engineering industry make use of exascale computing. It is funded by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and six EU member states. Its Interest Group is open to code developers, industrial end users, scientific experts and technology providers who want to follow and shape that work.

For us the membership is a natural fit. We optimise HPC simulation codes for our clients, and we develop OptiHPC, our product suite for faster and more reliable simulations. Through EXCELLERAT we get early access to the centre’s tools and expertise, and a European stage to show what we build.
